It is indeed pretty obvious that I love animals. They have been such an important part of my life. We have had as pets everything from hamsters to cows and horses….and I have loved having them all. Each of them with their own personality. My girls grew up with hamsters, mice, hedgehogs, turtles, bunnies, cats, dogs, chickens, horses.
I have loved painting not only our own pets but so many other peoples pets. There is something so special about putting a well loved pet into a painting…..they bring a smile to our hearts when we see them on our wall. Every morning I smile at the painting of Buddy my riding horse at the bottom of the stairs before heading out to see him in the pasture.
